Starbucks Passion Tea Lemonade Recipe

What human being doesn't love Starbucks? Unfortunately for me, the nearest Starbucks is located thirty minutes away!

YES, IT'S TERRIBLE!

Thankfully, since I'm not close-by I save money and become more innovative person.

I am going to share with you all a recipe for my favorite drink from Starbucks, Passion Tea Lemonade, you can make at home. It's incredibly apparent and clear.

Let's get started...

Ingredients:
  • Minute Maid Lemonade 15 Calories
  • Tazo Passion Tea
  • Sugar
  • Ice

Steps:
  • Boil 8-10 oz.of water on the stove or in the microwave.
  • Place two tea bags in the water for 15 minutes.
  • When it is finished, place the tea in the fridge to cool.
  • Whenever you want a drink, add ice to a little less than 1/2 cup of tea and 1 and 1/2 cup of lemonade.
  • Mix the two and stir in sugar as needed.

I can usually make 4 cups of this tea to use for 2-3 days!

This is delicious and I hope you all love this tasty treat!

Praying For Those Who Are Afraid

Isaiah 35:4- Say to them that are of a fearful heart, Be strong, fear not: behold your God will come with a vengeance, even God with a recompence; he will come and save you.

Fears can overtake us, control, or destroy us if we give them the power to do that.

Why should we not fear?  No fear is greater than the God that is standing beside you.
Take strength and courage as your armour!

When you realize God is there and will fight and win the battle, freedom triumphs fear.

There are times when we are tempted to withdraw from everything and let fear win, with this Satan has found victory in seeing you give up and leave God out of the situation.

Give your situation and troubles to God, cast your cares upon him. I promise, once you give your burdens to him, a peace will come over you and you problems will be solved.
It did for me, last week I went to the altar with a burden or fear, I gave it to God and immediately he took care of it!

Whatever your fear may be, it will not endure forever. There will be a day when the final battle is won and we will go to our home, Heaven, with the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit where an unending joy awaits us all!

Remember: let your faith be bigger than your fear.

STOP Making Excuses

Exodus 3:11- And Moses said unto God, Who am I, that I should go unto Pharaoh, and that I should bring forth the children of Israel out of Egypt?

Moses questions God as to why he should be the one? Can't this person do it?
He complains he cannot bring the children of Israel out of Egypt.

Sounds like us right?
Always making excuses why I can't do this or that. God has something for each of us to do to praise Him: teach a class, sing, play an instrument, preach, pray, help someone in the church, become a missionary, or give your testimony.

God has something for EVERYONE.
But, it seems often we make excuses as to why we cannot do the things he wants us to do, including me!

Exodus 4:10- And Moses said unto the Lord, O my Lord, I am not eloquent, neither heretofore, nor since thou hast spoken unto thy servant: but I am slow of speech, and of a slow tongue.

Again Moses whines, "I cannot speak well."

Exodus 4:13- And he said, O my Lord, send I pray thee, by the hand of him whom thou wilt send.
Moses is still not convinced he should be the one and wanted God to send someone else.

If God wants you to do something He will give you the strength, guidance, knowledge, and courage to do it, because He is with you.

In church God may want you to shout, and you sit back and say no, I shouldn't. Here you have lost a blessing that someone else will gain from obeying the Lord.

If you do obey it starts a fire, everyone begins to move and obey the Lord and the Spirit will fill the service.

Trust in God and STOP making excuses and do what you're suppose to do.

Happy Father's Day!

I am so excited tomorrow for Father's Day! Unlike some children/adults I am blessed so much with not only an earthly father that loves me and cares for me, but a heavenly Father who would go so far as to die for me on a cross.

My father has done so many things for me in my life. He has taught me to trust, follow, and fear the Lord.
My father has shown me instructions on life and directed me in biblical wisdom. (Not to mention taking me to church every Sunday.)
My father mirrors the love Christ has for me.
My father protects, strengthens, guides, provides, and encourages me.

Proverbs 22:6

Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.

I want to say thank you to my dad, Danny, for all he does and continues to do. Happy Father's Day to every dad out there!
