STOP Making Excuses

Exodus 3:11- And Moses said unto God, Who am I, that I should go unto Pharaoh, and that I should bring forth the children of Israel out of Egypt?

Moses questions God as to why he should be the one? Can't this person do it?
He complains he cannot bring the children of Israel out of Egypt.

Sounds like us right?
Always making excuses why I can't do this or that. God has something for each of us to do to praise Him: teach a class, sing, play an instrument, preach, pray, help someone in the church, become a missionary, or give your testimony.

God has something for EVERYONE.
But, it seems often we make excuses as to why we cannot do the things he wants us to do, including me!

Exodus 4:10- And Moses said unto the Lord, O my Lord, I am not eloquent, neither heretofore, nor since thou hast spoken unto thy servant: but I am slow of speech, and of a slow tongue.

Again Moses whines, "I cannot speak well."

Exodus 4:13- And he said, O my Lord, send I pray thee, by the hand of him whom thou wilt send.
Moses is still not convinced he should be the one and wanted God to send someone else.

If God wants you to do something He will give you the strength, guidance, knowledge, and courage to do it, because He is with you.

In church God may want you to shout, and you sit back and say no, I shouldn't. Here you have lost a blessing that someone else will gain from obeying the Lord.

If you do obey it starts a fire, everyone begins to move and obey the Lord and the Spirit will fill the service.

Trust in God and STOP making excuses and do what you're suppose to do.
